St. Andrew's Episcopal Church
Who we are

Who we are

We are the Episcopal branch of the Jesus Movement

…in Valparaiso, Indiana. At St. Andrew’s we strive to do this in many ways, including regular worship and study, care for those in the hospital, nursing facilities or home bound, hosting a variety of organizations in our building, and by participating in community efforts to care for those in need and advocate for those on the margins.
The Episcopal Church draws from both the Reformed and Catholic traditions. It is part of the Anglican Communion; churches around the world in communion with the Church of England. Member churches share a common heritage and commitment to the authority of scripture, tradition and reason.

The Episcopal Church

…welcomes the full participation of al regardless of age, race, gender, LGBTG+, ability, class, social position, etc.

St. Andrew’s

…makes a difference in our community and world through our many outreach activities.

…has a friendly family feel enhanced by our frequent and fun social events.

…provides opportunities to study the bible and Christian tradition, to pray for others, and to grow in faith and service.
