National Day of Prayer

National Day of Prayer – A Day of Fasting and Prayer

Join us on May 7 for the 69th annual National Day of Prayer. Especially during this time of COVID-19, we believe that it is vital for God’s people to spend time in fasting and prayer. The Bible tells us the im- portance of prayer during times of crisis: “if my people, who are called by my name, will humble them- selves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.”
                                                                                                                                                                                                                             2Chron. 7:14

The 2020 theme is “Pray God’s Glory Across the Earth,” based on Habakkuk 2:14, “For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord as the waters cover the sea.” On May 7, 2020, God is inviting us to join in a prayer movement spanning the globe to cry out for Him to advance healing throughout the earth. With the marvels of modern technology, even in the midst of social distancing, we can pray together for our county.

We invite you to fast throughout the day and join us as we pray for our nation. At various times throughout the day, we will be gathering virtually on our Zoom platform to pray for our nation.
