Alpha

What is Alpha?
Alpha is a ten week course that explores Christianity in a relaxed, engaging, and non-threatening way. At Alpha, everyone has the opportunity to learn, listen, discuss, and ASK. We believe that no question is too simple or too complex – each person can voice their opinions, values, or challenges.

Who Is Alpha For?
Alpha is for anyone ready to explore life’s big questions. Some Alpha participants already go to church, but they want to learn more about the basics. Others have never been to church, and they want to find out, once and for all, what Christianity says. Some people are drawn to Alpha by the relationships and fellowship of the groups. Whatever your reason, YOU are invited and YOU are welcome.  Alpha is found in over 160 countries, and thousands of schools, prisons, homes, and churches of all denominations.

How Much Will It Cost?
There is no charge for attending the Alpha course, although we do welcome contributions toward the cost of food.

What Happens At Alpha?
Each gathering begins with dinner and a chance for participants to get to know each other. Then there is a short video presentation which looks at a different aspect of the Christian faith each week. This is followed by a time of discussion in small groups, where everyone is welcome to contribute their opinion and ask questions.

Is Childcare Available During Alpha Sessions?
Yes! Contact us to let us know your needs.

When is the Course?
The next Alpha class will Be determined. Please contact the office if you are interested in participating in this class.
